WHEN: February 17, 2011
WHERE: Charleston, SC

90-day Maximum Temperature Anomaly
It has been a brutal winter for most of the country and even those in the south have not escaped winter's wrath.
The 30-day average (red line) for the departure from average high in Charleston has been negative since December 9. That is, until tomorrow (if the forecast holds)!
Translation
It's been persistently abnormally cold here for the past two and a half months - and it's wearing on me.
I'm sure you can relate.
Graphical forecast for the US tomorrow
It's great to see so much red on the map again!
Thankfully, the grass is starting to grow (as are allergies) and it appears spring has taken over, so I can finally breathe a sigh of relief again - ahhhhhh!
