I love Christmastime and everything it brings. I wouldn't listen to Christmas music in June or for 4 months in a row if I didn't. However, I cannot agree that this is the most wonderful time of the year. But I like this song so much, I would (and do) listen to it during the real "most wonderful time of the year"! :)
The song was written in 1963 by George Wyle, the same guy who wrote the theme song for Gilligan's Island. I wish I could fit more of Andy Williams Christmas music on this countdown, but this is my favorite one of his. It's (almost) the most wonderful time of the year!

The movie, just 8 years old, has already become a Christmas classic and even the film score ranks up there with some of the best Christmas tunes. Sure, I'm biased because I've placed it at #4 on the countdown. But listen to the song below and try to tell me - aside from the whirlwind of your Christmas festivities - that it doesn't put you in an instant Christmas mood. If you haven't seen the movie than the song may not have the same effect on you, but you'll still enjoy it. More importantly, if you haven't seen this movie, WATCH IT! :)
